ISO

ISO is the level of sensitivity of your camera to available light. the lower the ISO number , the less sensitive it is to light while the higher the ISO number it increases the sensitivity of your camera. However the higher the ISO number the more noise(grain) is produced as shown below. In the image below we can see the difference between the two images.

Examples:

ISO 100 – 1 second
ISO 200 – 1/2 of a second.
ISO 400 – 1/4 of a second.
ISO 800 – 1/8 of a second.
ISO 1600 – 1/16 of a second.
ISO 3200 – 1/32 of a second.

Aperture and Shutter speed

Aperture and Shutter speed are one of the most important things about photography,they can do/change a lot about your photo. The aperture is the size of the lens opening. It controls the amount of light let in: a larger aperture lets in more light, while a smaller aperture lets in less light.The image below shows how small/large the shutters open when changing the aperture.

Shutter speed is a much simpler concept to understand. It's basically how long the sensor/film in the camera is exposed to light. How long the shutter stays open depends on how much light there is.this image below shows what will happen if you have a dark image (shorter time open) and how bright it can get (longer time open).

We used this camera to take the following images below the camera was easy to use, i fount it quite practical as well as quite basic. Furthermore it produces a fine image even without using Photoshop. On the Canon we had to used different setting for the high key lighting studio, we had to set the camera M which is manual, also the Film speed-ISO 200 then the shutter speed was set at 1/125 and the aperture at f11. This created a better image when we used these settings.
